Federal Cabinet approves Finance (Supplementary) Bill

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Federal Cabinet on Thursday approved the Finance (Supplementary) Bill.

During the meeting, Federal Minister for Information Technology Aminul Haq opposed the imposition of 10 percent withholding tax on IT instruments.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that all allies are with the government. "The common man will be burdened with only Rs2 billion and 17 percent withholding tax will not be imposed on him," he maintained.

Meanwhile, the PTI and allies parties also held a meeting of the joint parliamentary party. The PTI leaders urged the members to ensure their presence during the assembly session.
