ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided not to increase the prices of electricity and gas during a meeting on Thursday. The prime minister directed to devise strategy to decrease the import duty to reduce the rates of pulses. She said that the cabinet was informed that the prices of edible items are decreasing due to effective measures taken by the government. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the cabinet was also informed that the government's initiative of providing subsidized items in Utility Stores is yielding positive results. She said that a comprehensive framework was being devised to provide relief to the low income salaried persons.
