Federal cabinet decides to take steps to reduce prices of daily-use items

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.

The cabinet was briefed about the economic indicators and the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). It discussed the 15-point agenda and approved a majority of its points.

Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar said that the government had taken steps to reduce the prices of daily-use items.

He said that the required wheat had reached the country and remaining amount would reach soon.

The forum approved the plan for the restoration of the railways.

The cabinet discussed the political matters during the zero hour. It held consultation on the narrative of the opposition, including the PML-N.

The forum also reviewed the anti-government movement and public meetings scheduled by the opposition.
