Federal cabinet exempts anti-coronavirus items from duty and tax on import

The meeting exempted the anti-coronavirus items from duty and tax. It also approved the establishment of the Pakistan Medical Authority.

It also approved to extend the online-visa facility to 16 countries and appointment of the chairman of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board.

The meeting postponed the issuance of the notification of the Press Council members and re-organization of PTV Board of Directors. He ordered to include old members in the PTV board.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered to appoint Naeem Bukhari as chairman of PTV after completing the board. He also directed more steps to reduce inflation.

Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar briefed the prime minister on flour and sugar. He said that the prices of flour and sugar had reduced.
