Federal cabinet expresses concern over opposition's meetings despite surge in coronavirus cases

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal government has expressed a grave concern over the opposition's public meetings despite an increase in the coronavirus cases.

Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that lives of the people at risk due coronavirus. "People's lives will be at more risk due to the meetings," he added.

He directed to ensure availability of oxygen in all hospitals.

The forum was of the view that the opposition is playing with the lives of the people. "The government should let them expose before the masses instead of stopping them," it maintained.

The cabinet also decided to discuss the matter of boycotting France with the Muslim Ummah.

It declared the OIC's approval of the resolution on Islamophobia a success of Pakistan, saying it reflects success of Prime Minister Imran Khan's foreign policy.

The committee approved the formation of a special committee with regard to anti-narcotics.
