Federal cabinet accords approval to sign deal of Reko Diq project

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Cabinet has accorded approval to sign the final deal of the Reko Diq project.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired meeting of Federal Cabinet. However. the BNP (Mengal) and the JUI-F had not attended the meeting.

After detailed discussion on the reorganization of Reko Diq project, the prime minister said that government will ensure protection of the rights of investors in the project. All the promises will be fulfilled.

It is pertinent here to mention that, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved two agenda items on Reko Diq Project thus paving the way for early start of the project.
