Federal cabinet increases govt employees' house allowance by 44%

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet on Tuesday increased the house allowance of the government employees by 44 percent.

Addressing a press conference after the federal cabinet meeting, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said that the cabinet had included Uzbekistan in the list of Business Visa List. "We want to connect Gwadar and Karachi to Mazar-i-Sharif and Tashkent through the rail."

He said that the fake news and the hybrid war are interlinked.

"The cabinet also decided to review the laws pertaining to the social media. The next election will be held under the new census," he added.

Fawad Chaudhary said that petrol is available at the cheapest rates in Pakistan. "One has to pay the price for saying 'Absolutely Not'. We will hold consultation over action against the cricket teams," he maintained.

He said that overseas Pakistanis are the backbone of country's economy. "We achieved a big success in the fight against polio. In the last seven months, only one case of polio was reported. Pakistan is on the way to become a polio-free country,” he maintained.
