Federal cabinet approves introduction of Rs10 coin

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet has on Wednesday approved the introduction of ten rupee coin and change of five rupee coin's metal composition. The decision was taken in a meeting of the federal cabinet presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The meeting also approved the publication of tax directories and extension of reduced withholding tax rate for non-filers upto 31st of December this year. The federal cabinet further decided to maintain the petroleum products prices and introduce Pakistan Commission of Inquiry Bill 2016 in the National Assembly in the coming session. Addressing the media, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the meeting has approved a system for any change in petroleum prices, adding that under the system OGRA will move a summary to Ministry of Petroleum and the Petroleum Ministry will sent it to Ministry of Finance Ministry after review.
