Federal cabinet to be extended after Ashura: sources

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet will be further extended after Ashura, revealed sources. They said that 4-5 new ministers will take oath in the fourth phase of the extension in the cabinet. “Decision has been made to include Faisal Vawda from Karachi and Fazal Muhammad Khan from Charsaddda. Moreover, Ali Ameen Gandapur and Azam Swati will be included in the cabinet,” the sources said. They disclosed that efforts are going on to reconcile with estranged Muhammadmian Soomro. Currently the cabinet comprises 19 federal ministers and four state ministers. However, the decision on the portfolios of Science and Technology, Overseas Pakistanis and Communications is yet to be made.
