Federal cabinet meeting underway to discuss nine-point agenda

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan is presiding over a meeting of the federal cabinet to discuss the nine-point agenda on Tuesday. According to the agenda, the cabinet will be briefed about the coronavirus situation in the country. It will endorse the decisions made by the Cabinet Committee on Energy. The forum will approve the agreements inked between the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the International Organization of Migrants. The agenda also includes approval of launching internet service in underdeveloped countries. It will also approve the issuance of prohibited and non-prohibited weapon licences. The forum will also approve the appointment of the General Power Purchasing Agency CEO. The PM’s Taskforce on Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) will present recommendations and forum will approve the utilization of ETPB land in urban areas for welfare projects. The cabinet will approve the transfer of investigations into Kachhi Canal from the FIA to the NAB. Some ministers will attend the conference through the video link.
