Federal cabinet to review Azadi March of Maulana Fazl

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Federal Cabinet will meet in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair to review Azadi March of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-F (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The cabinet will discuss Azadi March and government’s negotiation committee including other important matters. The federal government will decide to detain or arrest Maulana Fazlur Rehman. the federal cabinet will also discuss overall political and economic situation of the country. Dire situation in Occupied Kashmir as well as Indian aggression on the Line of Control (LoC) will also be discussed. The cabinet will also be briefed on the prices of essential commodities. On the other hand, the opposition’s Rehbar Committee expressed desire to negotiate with the government over terms and conditions. Akram Durrani said that the opposition may negotiate with the government over Azadi March only if they announce to allow march. Earlier, the crackdown has been started against the Azadi marchers of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F(JUI-F) as two JUI-F leaders were arrested from Islamabad. According to the reports, police arrested JUI-F two leaders arrested from Islamabad and a case was lodged against them by the police. Maulana Shafiqur Rehman and Maulana Muhammad Irshad were arrested from Shams Colony along with banners for the JUI-F sit-in in their possession. On October 20, the JUI-F has canceled meeting with government delegations that was due to be held today. As per details, the party representative has said that Rahbar Committee of the opposition will take final decision regarding negotiation with the government. Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani also telephoned Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri and decided to meet today for detailed discussion on anti-government march. Earlier, government had formed a committee to hold talks with the Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) for stopping the Azadi March.The decision was made during a meeting of the PTI’s Core Committee.
