Interior Ministry extends Rangers special powers for 60 days

KARACHI (92 News) – The Interior Ministry has extended special powers of the Rangers for 60 days.

A notification is this regard has been issued.

The Rangers will use their full powers for 60 days. 

The powers have been granted under the Anti-Terrorism Act. The provincial government is not authorized to limit the powers of a federal institution.
