Federal govt removes governor Punjab from his position

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Government has removed Governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema from his position.

According to a press release, summary for removing Punjab governor has been sent to the President.

On the other hand, Omar Sarfraz Cheema has said that he will continue working as Punjab governor until President do not denotify him.

Earlier, Omar Sarfraz Cheema declared that elections of CM Punjab are controvertial. He also postponed the oath taking ceremony of CM Punjab.
