KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has accused the federal government of being sluggish in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. In an interview with the UK media, he said that the country’s system will collapse if coronavirus spread. “We can get rid of coronavirus only with the cooperation of the international community,” he added. The PPP chairman appealed to the rich countries to help the poor countries. “The poor countries have not so much resources to fight against coronavirus lonely. The rich countries will have to distribute testing kits and health facilities justifiably. The world powers will have to change their attitude,” he added. He said that today restrictions are being imposed on Iran where people are dying of coronavirus. “Indian lockdown of IOJ&K is going on for 250 days. The Kashmiris have no facility.” Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan had been badly affected by coronavirus. “Our health system is not strong enough to fight against this epidemic. We can only avoid the pandemic through lockdown and social distancing,” he said. He said that Pakistan’s opposition has offered the government to launch efforts jointly. “The provinces are working separately and the federal government’s help to the provinces is scanty,” he added.
