Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed tests positive for coronavirus

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. After testing positive for COVID-19, the minister quarantined himself in his house. The Railways Ministry spokesperson said that apparently Sheikh Rasheed had shown no symptoms of coronavirus. He said that the minister would remain in isolation for two weeks. President Dr Arif Alvi and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail phoned Sheikh Rasheed and inquired after his health. They prayed for his recovery. Meanwhile, Private Secretary to Railways Minister Muhammad Yousaf was also diagnosed with COVID-19. He quarantined himself in his official residence. Punjab Minister for Minorities Ejaz Alam Augustine also suffering from coronavirus. On the other hand, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also tested positive for coronavirus. He self-isolated himself at his house. PML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has also quarantined at his home after testing positive for coronvirus. Balochistan former adviser Sardar Muhammad Nasir died of coronavirus.
