ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal government has decided to file a petition against the local government system in Sindh. In 92 News’ Program ‘Hard Talk’ on Tuesday, Minister for Planning Asad Umar said that he and the prime minister would be the petitioners in the case. He said that the situation in Karachi will improve by delegating powers and better local government system. Asad Umar said that the people coming from Sindh’s rural areas had destroyed Karachi. “There will be no balance if the social media is let loose,” he said. The minister said that their meetings with Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Moonis Elahi had been positive. “The government has given the relief on eatables.” He said that they had a detailed discussion regarding relief on gas and electricity. “We consult the allies while making decisions. Tariq Bashir Cheema did not attend the meeting last time as he had to attend a wedding ceremony,” he said. Asad Umar said that they faced criticism on the social media. “However, there should be a law for it,” he added.
