Female candidates clinch all the top positions in matric exams

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has on Tuesday declared the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II examination, the female candidates have clinched all the top positions. Minal Amir of Army Public School Peshawar bagged the top position by securing 1032 marks out of the total 1050 marks. The second position was secured by Urooj Fatima and Aiman Gull by securing 1031 marks. Similarly, the third position was shared by Ayesha Ehsan, Hafsa Saeed and Areej Musharraf. All three girls obtained 1030 marks. A total of 82,894 students, both boys and girls appeared as candidates and the pass percentage for regular and private students remained 79 percent.
