Female constable tortured by lawyer transferred to Muridke from Ferozewala

MURIDKE (92 News) – A female constable, who was tortured by a lawyer, was transferred to Muridke from Ferozewala on Monday. Faiza Nawaz will perform her duty as assistant reader of the Muridke ASP. The transfer notification will be issued after Muharram. Rana Ahmed Mukhtar advocate had slapped her for stopping from wrong of his vehicle. On the orders of the Sheikhupura DPO, the police arrested the lawyer. The police wrongly registered the accused’s name as Iftikhar in FIR. On the orders of the Sheikhupura DPO, the accused was presented in court handcuffed by the victim constable. However, the accused was acquitted for writing the wrong name and not showing the torture. In a video message, the female constable said that she was being threatened with dire consequences.
