Funeral prayer for journalist offered in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Funeral prayer for slain Journalist Athar Mateen has been offered in Karachi on Saturday.
President Arif Alvi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and other political and social personalities offered prayers for slain journalist Athar Mateen.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has said that they will soon arrest accused involved in the murder of journalist. “We are taking steps for peace and instructed to the Police. We are hoping that soon there will be betterment. Matters are on final stages regarding safe city,” he added.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani has said that murderes of Athar Mateen will surely be arrested. “Reasons of increasing street crime is bad financial condition. There is not any involvement of government in transfer of police constables,” he maintained.
MQM leader Amir Khan said that we can not hope anything from these rulers.
Earlier, Journalist Athar Mateen had been killed in North Nazimabad during robbery.
