FIA arrest three PTI leaders from different cities

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested three PTI leaders from Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore on Friday.

The authorities arrested Senator Saifullah Niazi from Parliament Gate, while Hamid Zaman was picked up from Lahore.

In Karachi, the agency raided the house of Tariq Shafi and took mobile phones and other important items in their custody.

Tariq Shafi and Hamid Zaman faces the charges of prohibited funding, while Saifullah Niazi is involved in the illegal fund-raising.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has confirmed the arrest of the PTI leaders, saying that they have been taken into protective custody.
