FIA decides to arrest Shaukat Tareen for 'damaging' IMF deal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to arrest former finance minister Shaukat Tareen for allegedly damaging the IMF deal.

According to sources, the FIA is likely to arrest Shaukat Tareen in a few days. The leaked audios of Shaukat Tareen with former finance ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been investigated.

During the investigation, it has been revealed that Shaukat Tareen's conversation in the leaked audios was aimed at damaging the IMF deal.

The Interior Ministry has allowed the FIA to arrest and take action against Shaukat Tareen.
