FIA gets powers to take action across country under Protection of Pakistan Act

LAHORE (92 News) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been delegated the powers to take action across country under the Protection of Pakistan Act. The government has given FIA’s Counter Terrorism Wing the status of a police station where cases will be registered under sections of the Pakistan Protection Act, Cyber Terrorism, Terrorism Financing and Counter Terrorism.
