FIA raids at house of PML-N's city president 'Pomi Butt'

GUJRANWALA (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti Corruption Wing raided at the house of PML-N city president Salman Khalid alias Pomi Butt on Tuesday.

According to the FIA officials, the operation was conducted to arrest the MPA's brother Pomi Butt. However, the FIA team returned without arresting Pomi Butt.

It was reported that assets beyond income case and tax evasion case have been registered against Salman Khalid.

Last week, the FIA team had interrogated PML-N's Shehbaz Sharif at the the Kot Lakhpat jail about his alleged role in a money laundering case. The PML-N leader had maintained that he did not commit corruption.
