FIA submits report to SC on people having properties in Dubai

LAHORE (92 News) – The FIA has submitted a report to the Supreme Court on the people, including political figures and government officers, having properties in Dubai. According to a report, PTI leader Mumtaz Ahmed purchased 16 properties, while four properties were purchased in the name of Rizwana Amin, wife of former minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim, in Dubai. However, Rizwana Amin has denied having properties abroad. Her employee has also refused to receive the notice sent by the FIA. Adnan Sami’s mother Naureen Sami is the owner of three properties. Several politicians and government have also made properties worth billions of rupees in Dubai. The list includes the names of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan. According to the report, Aleema Khan is the owner of a nameless property in Dubai. The FIA has sent a notice to Aleema Khan, while her employee has said that the owner is abroad. A notice has also been sent to Aleema Khan through e-mail. The mother of Farrukh Saleem, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s special assistant, is also on the list of people having properties in Dubai. Irfan Marwat and Dildar Cheema have denied having properties abroad. Former PML senator Anwar Baig’s wife, Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi, Mir Hassan Talpur, former senator Ammar Ahmed Khan also possess properties in Dubai. Daughters of Musharraf’s former secretary Tariq Aziz and wife of former MD PIA Ijaz Haroon are owners of properties. Customs Collector Shahid Majeed, FBR Officer Wasif Khan, DIG Sohail Habib Tajik, former XEN Zakam Khan, Agha Masood Abbas, a government officer, ADBP’s Irshad Ahmed and Customs Collector Wahid Khurshid’s wife are among the people having properties in Dubai.
