Filing of nomination papers for Islamabad LG polls from today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The two-day process of filing nomination papers for the local government election in Islamabad Capital Territory has begun today (Thursday). As per schedule, objections against nomination papers can be filed on Sunday and the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on Monday and Tuesday, while contesting candidates have the choice to withdraw their nomination papers till July 5. The final list of the contesting candidates will be released on the 6th of next month, while the election will be held on the 25th of next month.
