Final decision about elections in Punjab, KPK will be made next week: ECP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The final decision about the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be made next week.

According to a statement issued by the ECP, Chief Election Commissioner Raja Sikandar Sultan presided over a meeting.

During the meeting, security agencies informed the ECP about the security threat in several districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali will attend the meeting in the ECP.

The ECP will make the decision after getting briefing about all stakeholders.

On the other hand, the ECP has appointed the returning officers for the general elections.
