Final phase of LB elections underway in Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – Polling is underway for election of Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Mayors and Deputy Mayors in Punjab on Thursday (today). In Punjab, 64 candidates out of 224 seats have been elected unopposed. The polling which started at 9am will continue till 2pm without break. Strict security arrangements have been made for the polls while police and security forces have been deployed in and outside the polling stations.
