Finance Minister Ishaq Dar leaves for America to hold talks with IMF, WB

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday left for the United States to hold talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) on Wednesday.

During the visit, the talks will be held to give the relief of US$12 billion to Pakistan.

Moreover, the already going on talks with the World Bank further advanced to get the loan of US$12 billion on minimum mark-up. Sources said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has prepared a plan to deal with the increasing use of dollar and payment of loans on time.

They added that the government is deliberating on relaxing restrictions on imported items.
