FIR lodged against man, 4 sons for stabbing 11 family members to death

SUKKUR (92 News) - Police has lodged an FIR against a man and his four sons who allegedly murdered 11 members of their own family in Sukkur district's Pano Aqil tehsil. The main suspect, head of family Abdul Wahab, and his one son confessed to murdering 11 members of his own family, including women and children. Abdul Wahab cut the throats of his wife and eldest daughter, while his son Kaleemullah murdered other nine family members. A case was registered on the complaint of the suspect’s brother Mahmoodul Hasan at the Cantt Station. Wahab, his sons Kaleemullah, Habibullah and Mujeebullah have been named as primary suspects in the first information report (FIR), police said. The FIR includes provisions related to murder and terrorism. In a dreadful incident, 11 members of a same family were stabbed to death at Panu Aqil area of Sukkur. According to details of an unfortunate incident, a man killed 11 members of family with knife including six women and five children in village Halejvi Sharif, Pano Akil, Sukkur. The accused has been identified as Abdul Wahab and he is said to be a mental patient. After getting information of the incident, police reached the spot and arrested Abdul Wahab along with his three sons. The police said that the accused is said to be a close relative and is mentally unstable. The bodies have been shifted to nearby hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah after taking notice of the matter has summoned detailed report from IGP Sindh. According to CM House spokesperson, Murad Ali Shah has directed the police and the administration to extend their full support to the bereaved family. The provincial chief executive has also directed police to aware him about every aspect of the incident.
