FIR of Quetta mosque blast registered

QUETTA (92 News) – The first information report (FIR) of the blast at a mosque in Quetta’s Pashtunabad area has been registered at CTD police station on Saturday. The FIR has been registered on the complaint of the the Pashtunabad SHO. Earlier, four people were martyred while 21 others injured in a blast in Rehmania Mosque in Pahtunabad area. The martyred man was identified as Attaur Rahman, 30. The blast occurred during the Friday congregation. Security agencies reached the spot and cordoned off the area. Talking to the media outside mosque, DIG Abdur Razzaq Cheema said that the blast occurred a few moments before the Friday prayers. He said that two of the CTD and police had collected evidence from the site. The DIG said that explosives had been fixed under the pulpit and the blast was conducted through a time device. Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and several politicians have strongly condemned the blast. They said that cowardly acts of anti-state elements could not demoralize them.
