KARACHI – An first information report (FIR) has been registered against K-Electric in Karachi as both arms of an eight-year-old boy had to be amputated after a high-tension wire of electric fell on him. As per detailed garnered, the case has been filed against the electric administration on the complaint of Child's father. The police also arrested seven suspects in the case. The eight-year old boy, Muhammad Umar, was critically injured after a high tension wire fell on his left arm in Ahsanabad, a town adjacent to Gulshan-e-Maymar on August 24. Both arms of Umar an eight-year-old boy had to be amputated after a high-tension wire of K-Electric fell on him outside his home on the third day of Eidul Azha. The law come into force after publishing the news on media. According to father, his child has become handicapped for all life due to the careless attitude of the K-Electric. His mother in the moaning and said that May Allah no child be faced this type of incident which happened with his son. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Dua Bhutto reached the hospital and inquired the health of child. The PTI leader assured the bereaved family that the electric administration should have to answer this tragic incident.
