ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government will not be blackmailed by anyone. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, she said that doors are open for the real traders. “The traders who are observing a strike under a political agenda will be dealt with another method,” he added. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had administered poisonous injection to the economy. Referring to the video leak, she said that a race was going to prove himself as the biggest servant of Jati Umrah. “Judge Arshad Malik has been stopped from working. The PML-N starts using delaying tactics if proofs are demanded from it,” she said. Minister for Planning Khusru Bakhtiyar said that the government had announced to establish China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority. Minister for Colony Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the PML-N people belong to the underworld. “The people are standing with their institutions,” he added.
Senate chairman being targeted for not following dictations: Firdous
On July 12, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the people – who always attacked on the national institutions – aimed to make next target as Senate. Speaking to the journalists after attending a seminar, the opposition’s “no- trust move” against Senate chairman is a political adventure, adding that He is only being targeted for not following the dictations of so-called ‘political pundits’. The special assistant mentioned that the government does not want any conflict but the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its allies will foil the bid of opposition’s political adventure. She said that the country could not afford such adventures due to its political and economic situation. Commenting on the alleged video regarding Accountability Court Judge Arshad Malik released by PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, she assured that the credibility of the tape would be surfaced soon. She said that Maryam Nawaz is trying to mislead the masses distorted political roots of her party. Firdous Ashiq Awan said incumbent chairman had neither violated the constitution nor deviated from Senate’s code of conduct. He is only being targeted for not following the dictations of so-called ‘political pundits’.
