Firdous Ashiq Awan says today truth prevailed, lie suffered a defeat

LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan, reacting to the SC's verdict regarding the Daska re-poll, said that today truth prevailed and the lie suffered a defeat.

Addressing a press conference along with Ali Asjad Malhi on Thursday, she said that the PML-N had deliberately tried to stop the Daska by-election under a plan.

"In the Daska by-election, the sun of succession to throne was set and the election was declared controversial after taking the institutions hostage," he added.

She said that the PML-N had patronized the people involved in the firing incident. "The Punjab government had fulfilled its responsibilities in the Daska by-election," she added.
