Fire due to a storm: Death toll rises to nine in Dadu's two villages

DADU (92 News) - The death toll due to fire during a storm in two villages of Dadu has risen to nine.

The deceased include eight children and a woman. Over 70 houses were reduced to ashes and several cattle heads were killed due to the fire.

During the storm, the fire had erupted in Faiz Muhammad Daryai and Saleh Machi villages of Mehair tehsil.

According to the police, six bodies have been recovered from Faiz Muhammad Daryai. He said that the number of injured people are 10 and all injured are being treated in different hospitals.

The affectees said that the administration had not contacted them.
