Fire erupts at furniture market in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – A fire broke out in a furniture market situated at the Maulana Shaukat Ali Road in Lahore on the wee hours of Friday. According to the reports, the fire broke out in a furniture auction house, resulting spread very quickly and engulfed the entire auction house. At least 10 fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The rescue sources said that no one died or wounded in the fire incident. However, furniture and other valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire. The cause of fire is still not known.
Four of a family die as house catches fire in Lahore
Earlier, four of a family were burnt alive when a house caught fire in the Sattokatla police limits on Friday. The deceased include Sarfraz, his wife Saba, daughter Amna and son Shero. The fire fighters extinguished the fire after hectic efforts. The reason behind the fire said to be short-circuiting.
12 die as coach catches fire after colliding with pick-up in Karak
As many as 12 people were killed and six others injured when a coach caught fire after colliding with a pick-up at Speena Banda on the Indus Highway. The doomed coach was heading to Dera Ismail Khan from Peshawar. According to the police, the bodies and injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital.
