Fire erupts in factory located in Karachi’s Site Area

KARACHI (92 News) – A fire broke out in a factory located in Karachi’s Site Area on Thursday. According to the reports, the fire covered a large place of area including the garment factory and after getting the information a number of fire tenders reached the spot to control over the fire. The firefighters are facing difficulties due to huge clouds of smoke. The fire is uncontrollable and not extinguished after two hours. Due to increasing the intensity of fire, the glasses of build are being broken. The cause of the fire is unknown, whereas, the rescue teams have labeled the incident as a case of 3rd degree blaze. The huge clouds of smoke was visible from far flung areas of the city. Earlier, a fire broke out at business centre on the II Chundrigar Road in Karachi Tuesday morning. According to the people working on the floor, the blaze started at 8:30am after which a fire brigade was called which reached the site within half an hour. However, five fire trucks and a snorkel are putting out the fire. The building has been vacated. “Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident,” a fireman confirmed. The Karachi Water and Sewerage board’s managing director has imposed an emergency at water hydrants in NIPA and Safoora. Five water tankers have also been deployed to the fire site in case of a shortage. Meanwhile, the emergency has been imposed in Safoora Hydrants.
