Fire erupts in Gujrat house as six of family burned to death

GUJRAT (92 News) – At least six people of a family were burned to death as a house in Gujrat caught fire due to short circuit on Sunday. According to the rescue officials, two brothers, two sister and their parents were burnt to death as the deceased identified as woman Naseem and her two young sons Faisal and Kashif and three daughters Tayyaba, Zoobia and Madiha. The security personnel arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the matter. It was reported that the smoke from the house alerted the neighbours who rushed to the residence. They found that the fire had erupted in the room where the family was asleep. Separately, a newborn baby girl was burnt alive along with a ventilator when an intensive care unit (ICU) caught fire at Karachi’s National Institute of Child Health (NICH) before three days. According to the hospital sources, the ventilator had caught the fire. Investigations are underway to identify the reasons behind the fire. The NICH director said that the fire incident is an accident. “We share our sympathies with the parents of the baby,” A few days ago, fire incidents were occurred in the operation theatre of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and the nursery in the gynae ward of Jinnah Hospital. The newborn’s death has proved the negligence of the staff, raising several questions. “Why did the hospital administration conceal the incident? Whether the staff was on leave or in a deep slumber?
