KARACHI (92 News) – The massive fire that engulfed a garment factory located in the Site area of Karachi on Thursday morning has been extinguished after 22 hours. According to the details garnered, the cooling process is continued after blaze doused in the factory. The fire was erupted on the seventh floor of the building. The fire turned offices and warehouses into ashes. Rescue teams and at least 13 fire tenders and three snorkels took part in the operation to douse the blaze that has reduced goods worth million of rupees into ashes. Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy also took part in the operation to douse the blaze. It was also reported that the cause of fire is not yet known. No casualty was reported in the incident. Yesterday morning, a fire broke out in a factory located in Karachi’s Site Area. The fire covered a large place of area including the garment factory and after getting the information a number of fire tenders reached the spot to control over the fire. The firefighters are facing difficulties due to huge clouds of smoke. The fire was uncontrollable and not extinguished after many hours. Due to increasing the intensity of fire, the glasses of build are being broken. The cause of the fire is unknown, whereas, the rescue teams have labeled the incident as a case of 3rd degree blaze. The huge clouds of smoke were visible from far flung areas of the city.
