Fire fighters put out fire at Kiamari oil terminal; three dead

KARACHI (92 News) – At least three people were killed while another was missing as fire fighters managed to put out the fire at the Kiamari oil terminal on Monday after it lasted for more than 30 hours. A fire broke out at the Kiamari Oil Depot adjacent to Oil Terminal of Karachi port which lasted more than 30 hours. The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) fire tenders took part in the efforts to extinguish the blaze. The foam and chemical were used to extinguish the fire. Oil supply was suspended around the country due to the fire. The fire caused due to Methanol chemical.
