Fire guts valuables worth millions of rupees in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Fire has razed down chemical factory at the popular market in the provincial capital’s Shamnagar area, leaving goods worth millions of rupees burnt to ashes on Thursday.

The fire, which started in the wee hours of Friday, affected chemical factory at the popular market in Lahore’s Shamnagar area.

It quickly spread to entire factory in just a few minutes.

On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control. Valuables worth millions of rupees were gutted in the fire.

The rescue officials had to face problems as the factory was located in residential area.

The reason of the fire could not be ascertained yet.
