LAHORE (92 News) – The preliminary report revealed on Sunday that the mysterious fire erupted due to the poor arrangements of fire safety in Lahore Ali Tower. As per details garnered, the investigative report of Lahore MM Alam road Ali Tower mysterious fire has been come on surface. The report said that the blaze broke out in the cluster of wires on maisonette floor that badly affected rooms on third floor. “Neither the safety tools were working properly nor the sensors used in building. Changeover Switch caught the fire and badly affected all the building,” it said. It added that a notice was also issued to the Ali Tower building by Civil Defence by August 28. 43 people were safely rescued, seven were shifted to the hospital while one person lost his life as he jumped off the plaza, the report stated. A multi-story shopping mall owned by former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shebaz Sharif’s son-in-law Ali Imran mysteriously caught fire, stashing the record of agreement of Punjab Saaf Pani Company. Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has ordered link probe into the ‘suspect fire’ and summoned report from Punjab Inspector General of Police (IG) as soon as possible.
