First coronavirus patient recovers completely after treatment in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The first coronavirus patient recovered completely after his treatment in Karachi on Friday. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the youth will be discharged from hospital on Saturday. Earlier on Thursday, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza confirmed the sixth case of the coronavirus in Pakistan. The special assistant said that the patient is in clinically stable condition in Sindh and is being well taken care of. “6th case of #coronavirus in Pakistan is confirmed. Federal, provincial govts ready to meet coronavirus challenge
Chairing a meeting of emergency core group, Dr Zafar Mirza has said that every possible step is being taken to cope with the Coronavirus. He also said the federal and provincial governments and other institutions are fully ready to meet the challenge and protect the people from this virus. The special assistant said screening is being ensured at the airports and the ground routes. He said seven hundred and sixty thousand passengers have so far been screened. He said separate rooms are being allocated in the hospitals.
