ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The first lunar eclipse of 2021, which started at 1:48pm (PST), is underway across the country.

The eclipse, which is not being seen in Pakistan due to daylight, will conclude at 6:48pm.

It will be visible in East Asia, Australia and America.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon moves into the earth’s shadow. It happens only when the sun, earth, and moon are exactly or very closely aligned, with earth between the other two, which can only happen at the night of a full moon.
