First round of talks between Afghan government, Taliban concludes in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The first round of the dialogues between Afghan government and Taliban concluded in Islamabad on Tuesday night. The agenda of talks to be held in China next month was discussed. The next round of talks will start tomorrow. The Pakistan authorities were also present in the talks. Later, the Afghan officials and Taliban broke their fast jointly. Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai is representing the Afghan government. Qari Din Muhammad is leading the three-member delegation of the Afghan Taliban. Pakistan is playing the role of an arbitrator in the dialogues.
