LONDON (92 News) – First Test between Pakistan and England will start at Lords on Thursday (tomorrow). The series comprises four Tests, five One Day Internationals and a T-20 match. Misbah-ul-Haq is leading the national team in the Test series while Azhar Ali and Sarfraz Ahmed will lead Pakistan team in ODIs and Twenty-20 respectively. Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir will hope to put the 2010 spot-fixing scandal behind him once and for all when he returns in tomorrow's first Test against England at Lord's. Six years ago, during a Lord’s Test against England, Amir and Pakistan new-ball partner Mohammad Asif deliberately bowled no-balls on the instructions of captain Salman Butt as part of a sting operation carried out by a tabloid newspaper. Amir was banned for match-fixing and served time in prison for bowling no-balls for money six years ago. He took six wickets in an innings in that match and his potency as a left-arm paceman has never been in doubt. Alongside Wahab Riaz, another southpaw, they form a dangerous new-ball attack. On the other hand, giving his opinion on Aamer’s comeback, Tendulkar said that “He has skills, and if he gets his rhythm right he will be able to do something special. I think the guys who decided to penalize him have already penalized him. He’s served his sentence and now he’s back to playing after [doing] whatever he was asked to do, so I think it’s fine.”
