RIYADH (92 News) – Five civilians were injured when a missile launched by Yemen’s Houthis hit a border area in Saudi Arabia’s southern Jazan region on Tuesday.

The Saudi authorities said that three Saudi and two Yemni citizens were injured. Moreover, two houses, three cars and a store were damaged. The civilians suffered injuries from shrapnel. The group has fired missiles and drones towards Saudi cities, most of which have been intercepted.

The coalition intervened in Yemen in March 2015 after the Houthis ousted the Saudi-backed government from power in the capital, Sanaa, in late 2014.
