Five die as cable car falls into River Swat

SWAT (92 News) – Five people died when a cable car fell into the River Swat in Paleer area on Saturday.

Locals launched a search operation on self-help basis and rescued two people.

A body has also been recovered.

The Paleer Bridge had collapsed in floods seven years ago and it could not be repaired so far.

Locals have set up the cable car to cross the river.
