Five key players skip meeting chaired by PM at Bani Gala

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The three key players of the PTI team – Fawad Ch, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Asad Umar and Amir Kiyani – missed out the important meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan at Bani Gala on Saturday. Talking to the media, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting expressed the hope that they would agree Asad Umar. She said that Fawad Ch would also attend the next meeting. During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed confidence in the chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sources said that Imran Khan had taken the members into confidence after making big changes in the cabinet. “The PM clarified that the ministers and advisers not showing the performance would be sent home,” they added. The sources said that important tasks had been assigned to party spokespersons. It was also decided in the meeting to give an aggressive response to the criticism of the opposition. The sources said that the PM wanted the return of Asad Umar to the cabinet. “We are making all-out effort to stabilize the economy. We are monitoring the performance of provincial government along with the federal government on daily basis,” the sources quoted Imran Khan as saying.
