Five killed, several injured in blast on Chaman's Mall Road

CHAMAN (92 News) - At least five people have been killed and several injured when a blast ripped through the Chaman’s Mall Road area on Monday. According to the reports, an explosion was reported on Chaman's Mall Road on Monday morning, however, five people have been killed and five injured. Law enforcement agencies reached the spot and have cordoned off the area. The victims have been taken to Civil Hospital, Chaman where an emergency has been imposed. Meanwhile, officials of bomb disposable squad rushed to the spot and started gathering exploded fragments to ascertain the type and intensity of the explosion. According to police, the bomb was planted in a motorbike and detonated by remote control. Eyewitnesses reported that motorcycles and cars parked in the area were damaged due to the intensity of the blast. Following the incident, Balochistan Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan, condemned the attack and directed authorities concerned to leave no stone unturned in providing the best healthcare facilities to the injured.
