Five officials released from Larkana jail after successful talks with prisoners

LARKANA (92 News) – Five prisoners were released from Central Jail after successful talks with the prisoners making them hostage on Thursday.

The prisoners have linked the release of two officials to the return of Muhammad Ali Khokhar, a prisoner, from Jacobabad jail.

Meanwhile, the Waleed police have registered a case against 43 prisoners for making hostage seven officials on the complaint of Jail Superintendent Ashfaq Kalore.

Meanwhile, relatives of the officials who were made hostage staged a demonstration against the superintendent at jail gate. They chanted slogans against the superintendent. They alleged that the tension in the jail was due to behaviour of the superintendent.

The prisoners were holding seven officials hostage for the last one week.
